Our memories ! (':

Seriously, I love Bel 260 class! ;) There are many best memories that I had in this class. The way that Miss Zu used to teach us for Bel 260 are very interesting and useful to me. Miss Zu did a lot of activity such us acting, forum, watch the video, group presentation and others make me more love to learn English.

As compared in the first semester, my English are improved. The ways that Miss Zu uses to teach this subject make me want give full attention to this class. Last semester, I always felt nervous to enter her class but this semester my feeling was changed. I felt very exciting to learn and do many activities that Miss Zu prepared to us.

Thanks Miss Zu for your hard work to teach us and sorry for everything. We absolutely will miss you very muchhh!

Last day for Bel 260 class :'(

Thursday, 1^st March 2012

Today is the last day we meet Miss Zu in Bel 260 class. So, Miss Zu was prepared the food for us. Before we started to eat, Miss Zu gave us back the pop quiz essays that we had done yesterday. She wants to discuss about it for a while. My group just get 14 out of 20. Miss Zu said that our group must improve the grammar part. The paragraph that I wrote had many grammar mistakes. So, I must improve it!

After that, Miss Zu gave us food. She asked us to thanks with late comers because the money that she use it to buy the  food was from them ;’)

Then, Miss Zu gave us opportunity to ask anything about Bel 260 but mostly had enjoyed with the food. hehe. Suddenly, I saw Aira want to ask something with Miss Zu, so I followed her. Hehe. Then, Miss Zu said Aira lack of vocabulary when answer the questions. She advised us to read a lot of books to learn new words. I hope I could follow her advised.

The end of class, Miss Zu gave us advised and we took some picture with her ;’)

Today was my seconds last class for Bel 260 :'(

Today we learnt about authors’ purpose and the tone words. 

 Important reasons for author's to write:

 Entertain

The author tells a story that describes something or someone in an interesting ways

Persuade

The author tries to change our opinion on a topic by appealing to our emotions.

Instruct

The author will explain or teach something in the story that the reader doesn’t know.  The author provides knowledge to the reader.

Describe

Authors often describe to support other purposes in writing. They use it to create a character, set a mood or envision a scene.

Tone-writer’s use of words and writing styles to demonstrate his or her stand towards the issue

There are so many types of tone. As example:

•Indignant

•Evasive

•Incredulous

•Optimistic

•Pessimistic

•Mocking

•Malicious

•Compassionate
